Refund & Provisioning Policy

Last updated: 14 May 2026

This policy explains how Flowye handles checkout, protected slot provisioning, failed provisioning, refunds, disputes, and the boundary between Flowye service purchases and creator avatar/product purchases.

It should be read with the Creator Agreement, Protected Slot Offer Terms, and Checkout Consent Snippets.

What a Flowye purchase covers

When a creator buys Flowye, they are buying protection capacity/service access for a specific Protected Product or Avatar Identity, usually through a Protected Avatar Slot.

The creator is not buying ownership of Flowye's source code, internal tooling, plugin infrastructure, dashboard code, activation systems, branding, or protection logic.

The current price, active term, renewal terms, add-ons, and checkout terms are shown on the pricing page, checkout page, invoice, or manual written offer.

Flowye does not sell "lifetime protection forever". Flowye sells protected avatar slots with a defined active term, managed services, and renewal terms.

Checkout and provisioning

Successful checkout should create or provision the correct protected slot/service access.

Some setup, review, protected package preparation, or provisioning steps may still be manual during the current launch phase. This means a checkout can succeed while Flowye still needs to review, prepare, repair, or manually grant the correct access.

If checkout succeeds but your protected slot is not created correctly, Flowye will first try to repair the provisioning issue or manually grant the correct slot.

Checkout reserves or purchases the Flowye offer and starts the setup/provisioning workflow. It does not necessarily mean the protected build is already ready.

For the current manual-first launch, the 12-month Active Term for a base Protected Avatar Slot starts when Flowye marks the first protected build, review, slot, or protected release as finalized, ready, active, or delivered, unless the Offer Terms say otherwise. If the creator delays required materials, rights information, product files, access details, or review responses, Flowye may pause setup, review, packaging, provisioning, delivery, or the Active Term start where appropriate.

If the creator never provides the required materials or the submitted materials cannot be reviewed safely, Flowye may pause the order, require support/manual review, or handle the order under this policy.

When refunds may be available

Before Flowye starts manual setup, manual review, protected package preparation, provisioning, rebuild, re-protection, custom integration, or similar hands-on work, Flowye may be able to cancel or refund an order more easily, subject to provider fees, support state, fraud checks, and applicable law.

After Flowye starts manual setup, manual review, protected package preparation, provisioning, rebuild, re-protection, custom integration, or similar hands-on work, refunds may be limited unless law requires otherwise, because part of the purchased digital service/manual work may already have been performed.

Flowye may issue a refund where required by law or where Flowye confirms that the purchased protection cannot be provided and repair is not practical.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable law.

Consumer withdrawal, digital service consent, subscription cancellation, renewal, tax, and country-specific refund rules may require legal review. This policy does not try to provide final statutory wording and should be reviewed before being used as legal advice.

Unsupported or out-of-scope packages

Flowye may decline, pause, or cancel setup where a package, product, integration, or requested rebuild is unsupported, broken, unsafe, infringing, malicious, harmful, outside the purchased slot scope, or likely to violate VRChat, Unity, storefront, marketplace, creator economy, third-party asset, or applicable legal requirements.

If Flowye cannot provide the purchased service because the submitted materials are unsupported or out of scope, Flowye will review the order, work already started, and applicable law before deciding whether repair, manual adjustment, credit, partial refund, or no refund is appropriate.

Failed provisioning

If provisioning fails, contact Flowye with the checkout/order reference and creator account email.

Flowye will normally try to:

  • confirm the checkout/order state;
  • repair the provisioning issue;
  • manually grant the correct protected slot/service access where appropriate;
  • explain the next step if manual review or package preparation is still required.

If Flowye confirms that the purchased protection cannot be provided, Flowye may issue a refund where required by law or where repair is not practical.

Renewals, subscriptions, and failed payments

Renewal offers keep an existing Protected Avatar Slot active for another term. Subscription or monthly operations offers continue only as described at checkout, in the provider flow, or in a manual written offer.

If a standalone slot reaches the end of its Active Term without renewal, Flowye's target Grace Period is 30 days before the slot moves into Archived Mode, unless the Offer Terms, support state, provider flow, or applicable law requires another result.

If a renewal, subscription, or maintenance payment fails, Flowye may retry, ask for updated payment, pause renewal, move the slot or plan into Grace or Archived Mode, mark a subscription Cancelled, require manual review, or suspend related Managed Services according to the Offer Terms, provider flow, support state, and applicable law. Flowye's target payment Grace Period for failed recurring payments is 14 days unless the Offer Terms, provider flow, support state, or applicable law requires another result.

Cancelling a subscription or operations plan may stop future billing while leaving the current paid period active until the end of that period unless the applicable offer, provider flow, or law requires another result.

Add-ons and custom integrations

Add-ons such as Minor Rebuild Extra, Major Rebuild / Re-protection, Extra Variant Pack, Custom Store Integration Setup, and Custom Store Maintenance are separate from the base slot unless the Offer Terms say otherwise.

Refund availability for add-ons may depend on whether manual work has started, whether the submitted materials are supported, whether the work can be completed, and what applicable law requires.

Custom integrations may be manual/contact-only. Flowye may decline or pause custom work where a provider, storefront, package, API, rights issue, security issue, or operational constraint makes the integration impractical or unsafe.

Payment disputes and chargebacks

Payment disputes, chargebacks, fraudulent payment signals, or reversed payments may result in blocked or suspended access to the related protected slot/service access.

If you believe a payment state is wrong, contact Flowye so the order and provisioning state can be checked.

Creator avatar/product refunds are separate

Creator avatar/product refunds are separate from Flowye service purchase refunds unless Flowye itself is the seller for that specific transaction.

If a buyer bought an avatar or protected product from a creator/storefront, buyer refund requests should go to that creator or storefront.

Flowye handles Flowye activation/licensing technical issues where relevant. Creators handle avatar/product files, avatar setup, product quality, storefront purchase issues, avatar-specific support, and avatar refund requests.
