Flowye Creator Agreement

Last updated: 14 May 2026

This Creator Agreement is the main agreement for creators who buy or use Flowye protection. It is written to be practical and creator-friendly while still setting clear boundaries for purchases, protected products, buyer activation, abuse prevention, refunds, privacy, and third-party platforms.

For purchase-specific commercial terms, see the Protected Slot Offer Terms. Checkout implementation copy is tracked in the Checkout Consent Snippets. For privacy details, see the Privacy Notice. For buyer-facing activation guidance, see the Buyer Activation Guide.

1. Who provides Flowye

Flowye is provided by Dummics / Dominik Martignago, an individual developer based in Udine, Italy.

In this agreement, "Flowye", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Dummics / Dominik Martignago as the provider of the Flowye service, tooling, dashboard, activation systems, documentation, and related infrastructure.

2. What Flowye is

Flowye helps creators protect creator-controlled avatar/package distribution workflows by adding activation and licensing checks around protected products.

Flowye may include:

  • checkout and provisioning flows;
  • creator dashboard features;
  • protected product and buyer activation records;
  • Unity/package/import/activation tooling;
  • review, packaging, or setup support;
  • service infrastructure used to validate access and reduce misuse.

3. What Flowye is not

Flowye is not VRChat. Flowye is not Unity. Flowye is not a creator marketplace or storefront unless a specific Flowye product page clearly says otherwise.

Flowye does not sell a creator's avatar or protected product to buyers unless Flowye is explicitly the seller for that specific transaction. In the normal creator workflow, the creator or storefront remains responsible for the avatar/product sale.

Flowye does not grant anyone rights to upload, sell, modify, distribute, protect, or package third-party content. Flowye does not override VRChat, Unity, marketplace, storefront, or third-party asset terms.

Flowye should not be used or described as a way to bypass VRChat, Unity, storefront, marketplace, or asset-license rules.

4. Current launch and provisioning model

Flowye may use a checkout-based purchase flow, while some setup, review, protected package preparation, or provisioning steps may still be manual during the current launch phase.

This means checkout may reserve or create service access, but hands-on review, package preparation, issue repair, or configuration may still require manual work by Flowye.

5. What creators buy

When a Creator buys Flowye, they are buying protection capacity/service access for a specific Protected Product or Avatar Identity, not ownership of Flowye's source code, internal tooling, plugin infrastructure, dashboard code, activation systems, branding, or protection logic.

Flowye does not sell "lifetime protection forever". Flowye sells protected avatar slots with a defined active term, managed services, and renewal terms.

The current price, checkout terms, offer scope, active term, renewal terms, add-ons, and any subscription or manual-offer terms are shown on the pricing page, checkout page, invoice, or manual written offer. The Protected Slot Offer Terms explain the default slot model and how purchase-specific Offer Terms and Offer Snapshots work.

6. Protected Avatar Slot / Protected Product scope

A Protected Avatar Slot or Protected Slot is the creator protection capacity purchased for one Avatar Identity / Protected Product.

Under the current product model:

  • one Protected Slot applies to one Avatar Identity / Protected Product;
  • the base slot may include up to 5 Avatar Variants;
  • Avatar Variants must be genuine versions of the same Avatar Identity, such as platform, optimization, content, or performance variants of the same recognizable avatar/product;
  • one slot may not be reused for unrelated avatars, unrelated products, bundles, reskins, or different avatar identities unless Flowye explicitly approves that scope;
  • bundles or multiple avatar identities may require multiple protected slots or a separate offer.

Once a slot is reserved or finalized for an Avatar Identity, it may be non-reassignable where that is necessary to keep review, buyer activation, and protected product records coherent.

Unless the Offer Terms say otherwise, the base Protected Avatar Slot includes a 12-month Active Term. Checkout reserves or purchases the slot and starts the setup/provisioning workflow; it does not necessarily mean the protected build is already ready. During the current manual-first launch, the Active Term starts when Flowye marks the first protected build, review, slot, or protected release as finalized, ready, active, or delivered, unless the Offer Terms say otherwise.

If a creator delays submitting required materials, rights information, product files, access details, or review responses, Flowye may pause or delay setup, packaging, review, provisioning, delivery, or the Active Term start where appropriate.

If the creator never provides the required materials or the submitted materials cannot be reviewed safely, Flowye may pause the order, require support/manual review, or handle the order under the Refund & Provisioning Policy.

7. Creator responsibilities

Creators are responsible for the products they sell, package, protect, distribute, and support.

Creators must:

  • have the rights needed to sell, package, protect, upload, distribute, and modify the Protected Product;
  • comply with VRChat, Unity, storefront, marketplace, and third-party asset terms;
  • provide accurate product, buyer, license, activation, and support information;
  • avoid using Flowye for stolen, infringing, malicious, harmful, unauthorized, or misleading content;
  • support their own buyers for avatar files, product issues, storefront purchase issues, avatar-specific setup, product quality, and avatar purchase refunds;
  • avoid misrepresenting Flowye as affiliated with, approved by, endorsed by, or sponsored by VRChat or Unity;
  • tell buyers clearly when a protected product requires activation or licensing checks.

8. Buyer activation conditions

Protected products may require buyers to complete activation or licensing checks. These conditions are used to verify valid access, prevent abuse, and keep protected products working for legitimate buyers.

Buyer-facing details are explained in the Buyer Activation Guide. Buyer activation is designed to stay out of the way during normal Unity work, while still allowing creators to protect access when needed.

Flowye may block or suspend activation when needed to protect creators, buyers, or the service.

9. Payments, provisioning, and refunds

The current price and checkout terms are shown on the pricing page or during checkout.

Successful checkout should create or provision the correct protected slot/service access. If checkout succeeds but the protected slot is not created correctly, Flowye will first try to repair the provisioning issue or manually grant the correct slot.

If Flowye confirms that the purchased protection cannot be provided, Flowye may issue a refund where required by law or where repair is not practical.

Refund and provisioning details are explained in the Refund & Provisioning Policy. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you may have under applicable law.

Flowye uses third-party payment providers for checkout and billing. For the current launch architecture, provider-specific operations may use Polar, while this agreement normally refers to the applicable payment provider unless a provider-specific note is needed.

The payment provider owns the live provider products, prices, checkout sessions, billing state, and provider identifiers. Flowye keeps local display, legal-version, feature, ordering, visibility, warning, subscription-summary, and provider-mapping metadata. Provider checkout records and the Flowye order snapshot help determine the purchase-specific commercial record, including purchased offer name, price, billing cadence, slot count, provider reference, provider mapping, and accepted legal document versions where stored.

Completed purchases may be represented by an Offer Snapshot. Later pricing or feature changes do not automatically change already completed purchases unless the Offer Terms, applicable law, or a later agreement requires that result.

10. Abuse, suspension, blocking, and revocation

Flowye may block, suspend, or revoke activation when needed to protect creators, buyers, Flowye, third-party platforms, or the service.

Reasons may include:

  • abuse, fraud, harassment, impersonation, or support abuse;
  • tampering, circumvention attempts, or reverse engineering intended to bypass activation;
  • refunded, chargebacked, fraudulent, or invalid purchases;
  • unauthorized resale, sharing, redistribution, or transfer of protected access;
  • use outside the purchased protected slot scope;
  • malicious packages, harmful content, credential collection, malware, or spyware;
  • content that violates the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • creator/product unavailable status;
  • technical or security risk.

Flowye tries to keep enforcement proportional. Some issues may be handled by support or manual review; serious or urgent risk may require immediate blocking.

Suspension, blocking, or revocation for abuse, fraud, security, legal, platform, or rights issues is separate from normal expiry or Archived Mode.

11. Renewal, archive, and existing buyer entitlements

A Protected Avatar Slot may move through lifecycle states such as Pending Setup, Pending Review, Packaging / Provisioning, Active, Grace, Archived, Suspended, and Cancelled. Current implementation names may use narrower technical states while the product/legal model keeps this broader lifecycle vocabulary.

A Renewal keeps an existing Protected Avatar Slot active for another term. Renewal pricing and timing are controlled by the renewal offer, checkout flow, payment provider flow, or manual written offer.

Expired slots are archived, not intentionally broken.

Archived Mode is the normal state for a slot after its Active Term ends without renewal. For standalone slot expiry, Flowye's target Grace Period is 30 days before archive unless the Offer Terms, support state, provider flow, or applicable law requires another result. For failed recurring payments, Flowye's target payment Grace Period is 14 days before related service access, subscription state, or slot operations move into archive, cancelled, or manual-review handling, unless the Offer Terms, provider flow, support state, or applicable law requires another result.

Archived Mode may pause New Provisioning, new buyer activation/provisioning flows, rebuilds, re-protection, managed distribution, monitoring, dashboard actions, and other Managed Services for the archived slot.

Existing protected releases should not be intentionally broken only because a creator does not renew. However, Flowye may stop providing New Provisioning, new managed distribution, new rebuilds, new review work, or new dashboard actions for an archived slot. Creators should not keep selling new protected copies that depend on New Provisioning when the relevant slot is archived or New Provisioning is unavailable.

Existing End User Entitlements may be treated differently from New Provisioning. Details may depend on the Offer Terms, product status, support state, platform rules, security issues, and applicable law.

Where Flowye provides managed storage or managed distribution artifacts, Flowye's target archived retention period for those managed artifacts is 90 days after archive unless the Offer Terms, support state, legal obligation, security issue, provider constraint, or written support decision requires a different retention or disablement result.

12. VRChat, Unity, storefronts, and marketplaces

Flowye is independent from VRChat and Unity. Flowye is not affiliated with, approved by, endorsed by, or sponsored by VRChat or Unity.

Flowye does not override VRChat, Unity, storefront, marketplace, creator economy, or third-party asset rules. Creators and buyers remain responsible for following the terms of VRChat, Unity, creator marketplaces, storefronts, and third-party asset providers.

Flowye should not be used to bypass those rules. Flowye is intended for creator-controlled package/import/activation/distribution workflows unless a specific platform integration is explicitly supported.

Flowye does not override platform-specific buyer rights, marketplace rules, or creator economy terms. If a platform gives buyers specific rights or limits seller control, those platform rules still apply within that platform.

See the VRChat & Unity Boundary Guide for a plain-language explanation.

13. Availability, updates, and discontinuation

Flowye may change, update, pause, or discontinue features as the service evolves. Third-party providers, payment systems, hosting providers, storefronts, VRChat, Unity, SDKs, or other dependencies may affect availability.

Manual setup, review, protected package preparation, support, or provisioning may take time, especially during the current launch phase.

Flowye does not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written agreement says so.

Future Distribution Services may include managed delivery, object storage, signed links, expiring links, download/access logs, or related infrastructure. Unless a specific written offer says otherwise, managed distribution is not guaranteed forever, and creators remain responsible for keeping their own original backups and source files.

14. Intellectual property and ownership

Creators keep the rights they already have in their own avatars, products, artwork, files, and other creator content, subject to any third-party rights or licenses that apply.

Flowye keeps all rights in Flowye software, infrastructure, documentation, branding, dashboards, internal tooling, activation systems, review systems, protection logic, and related service components.

Buying Flowye does not transfer ownership of Flowye technology. It gives the creator the purchased service access/protection capacity described by the applicable offer and checkout.

15. No perfect protection / limitation of guarantees

Flowye is designed to reduce unauthorized access, sharing, leaking, and circumvention, but no protection system can guarantee perfect security or prevent every misuse.

As far as the law allows, Flowye is provided without guarantees that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every Unity project, compatible with every third-party asset, or able to prevent every form of misuse.

Creators remain responsible for testing protected packages before distribution and for supporting their own buyers on avatar/product-specific issues.

16. Liability and applicable law

As far as the law allows, Flowye is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, platform outages, storefront disputes, creator product defects, third-party asset issues, VRChat issues, Unity issues, or marketplace disputes.

Flowye's responsibility for a paid creator purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected Flowye protection offer, unless applicable law requires a different result.

This does not limit rights you may have under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

This agreement is governed by Italian law, unless mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be changed by agreement. Courts and dispute rules are explained in the Jurisdiction & Governing Law page.

17. Changes and contact

Flowye may update this agreement as the product, checkout model, provisioning model, or legal requirements change. Where practical, Flowye will give creators notice through the website, dashboard, documentation, email, or other reasonable channels.
